The Daegu skyline is dominated by high-rise apartment buildings. Only the very rich and the very poor live in houses. Lots of the apartments are actually condos rather than rentals.
It’s been a bit too cloudy, and we’ve been too busy, to get a good photo, but the cherry trees and forsythias are in full bloom here, and they are everywhere. We’ll see many more on our day trip to the ancient city of Gyeongju next week.
