Above left is Mr. Hae Hae, which means Much Laughter in Korean, or so they tell us. We met him at the Unhaesa Buddhist temple. He led a tea ceremony and signed copies of his meditation CD. (This guy hustles.)
Above right is a late lunch at a rather fancy Korean barbeque restaurant. We did not put “pulgogi” (marinated beef) in the round gas griddle (middle of the table) but rather “sengogi” (raw beef). David (left side, white polo shirt) got roped into a chili pepper eating contest with Mr. Lee (right side, plaid shirt). He was our tour guide at the temple and has a business collecting and preserving ancient texts.
