We spent Tuesday in Andong, a city known as a stronghold of Korean Confucianism.  We didn’t learn everything there is to know about Andong or Confucianism, but it’s probably fair to say that swordfights between men and women would not have fit in too well.  Even if the swords were made of plastic.

 

While Jess and David duel, Doug employs the philosophy that if you ignore them, they will stop.  Confucianism? Probably not.  Denial?  Likely.
